Baby thrown onto car roof when woman carrying it is knocked down by car in China
A baby was thrown onto the roof of a car after a woman crashed into it when running across a street in southern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province on October 19, shows a woman carrying a baby in her arms while running to cross the road. However, she ran straight into a passing car and accidentally threw her baby onto the car roof when she was knocked down.
Nearby passersby took the baby off the car roof and the car driver sent the woman to hospital.
The woman, named Qiu, suffered fractures to her collarbones and ribs. Luckily the baby was not hurt.
Qiu carried the baby on her left shoulder which blocked her vision and she did not check properly before running into the middle of the road.
The case is under further investigation.
