Protesters in Minsk fled as police forces began using stun grenades to disperse the crowds on Sunday (October 25).

Footage shows hundreds fleeing as the stun grenades are set off in the background. Another clip shows white smoke rising from the street where the protests took place.

Opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya called for a national strike on Monday (Octover 26) after President Alexander Lukashenko ignored the protesters' deadline to step down.
