Typhoon Molave caused severe floods after dumping rain in the Philippines today (October 26). Footage shows flooded homes and roads in the town of Pinamalayan in Mindoro Oriental province as residents struggled to cope with the deluge.

More than 50,000 people have been displaced by the typhoon as it passes through the Southern Tagalog region, where it made landfall while moving westwards.

Most of the evacuees were from villages that are prone to landslides, flash floods, storm surges, and mudflows.
The weather state bureau said the typhoon is expected to exit the country tomorrow (October 27).
