Heartbreaking moment schoolgirl bursts into tears after finding puppy had died
This is the heartbreaking moment a school girl burst into tears when she found that her puppy was dead.
Joy Catuday recorded her daughter crying over her lifeless two-months-old puppy inside their house in Caloocan City, the Philippines on October 4.
In the video, the seven-year-old animal lover Alexa asks her mother to revive the dog named Kukay lying on the floor.
The mother said that Kukay had been having difficulty breathing as it made a wheezing sound which they noticed two days before it died.
They took it to the veterinarians and was prescribed medicine but it later succumbed to its respiratory illness.
The little girl helped with giving the dog medicine and fed it during the mealtime. It was showing improvements the night before but they found it had stopped breathing in the morning.
Joy said: "My daughter was heartbroken when the dog passed. It hurts to watch her cry like that.
"We are all heartbroken and miss our lovely dog so much. Alexa had lost a best friend but I hope she will move on."
The dead dog was buried in the backyard later that day with the help of the little girl.
