A daredevil in Cambodia took an unusual approach to floods in Phnom Penh -- he turned his bike into a makeshift jet-ski.

The Moto Cross enthusiast welded two large pieces of metal to the underside of the bike, allowing part of it to skim the water's surface, albeit at the cost of being able to control the bike properly.

The footage was shot on October 22 in the latest of a number of flooding events this month.

Hundreds of thousands of acres of rice crops that were supposed to be harvested in the next few weeks have been destroyed. More than 10,000 people also had to be evacuated from their homes.
