Chaos erupted in Los Angles on Tuesday night (October 27) following the LA Dodgers World Series victory - with a cyclist being knocked over in a hit-and-run, a lorry being looted and a bonfire set alight.

Shocking footage from the junction at West Olympic Blvd and South Grand Avenue shows a man being knocked over by a black sedan and carried on the roof of the vehicle before it flings him to the ground. The cyclist then leapt to his feet and appeared to be unharmed.

Following the collision, fans looted an articulated lorry and set a bonfire alight with road signs and barriers before police and fire crews arrived.

In downtownLA and Pacoima, drivers were doing donuts while other fans gathered outside the Dodgers stadium to let off fireworks and sound their car horns in celebration.

The Los Angeles police department in the state of Califonia issued a precautionary citywide tactical alert while urging people to avoid the area.

The LA Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4 - 2 in the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series 2020.
