Huge queues were seen in Thessaloniki, Greece, as hundreds flocked to free COVID-19 testing booths as new lockdowns were announced across the country.

It is noted that the free rapid test for the coronavirus was started at 10 in the morning by Mobile Health Teams of Greek Ministry of Health. The examinations take place in specially equipped mobile units which have been set up in open space provided by local municipality. The queue formed by those who come to be tested - observing the distances provided between them - reached about 1km long.
