People in France took to the streets to protest against the second lockdown due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

President Emmanuel Macron has announced a second national blockade from Friday, October 30, to at least the end of November.

New lockdown rules allow people to leave home only for essential work or medical reasons. Non-essential businesses, such as restaurants and bars, will close, but schools and factories will remain open.
