Rice fields turned into an immense sea of water after the Molave storm in Vietnam
Just one day after the Molave storm hit the Vietnamese mainland, heavy rains flooded many parts of Central Vietnam.
The footage showed the entire rice paddies submerged deep in the water. The rice fields became an endless sea of water. The footage was recorded in Quang Binh Province, Central Vietnam on October 28.
Heavy rain of up to 27.5 inches will continue in parts of central Vietnam until Saturday. The authorities Fearing further flooding, have evacuated more than 4,000 people in low-lying areas.
Molave typhoon that slammed into central Vietnam has set off a series of landslides that buried villages and towns, left more than 60 people dead or missing.
The typhoon, packing 85-mile-per-hour winds, cut power to millions of people and damaged 56,000 houses, the Vietnamese government said.
