Restaurant staff beat up delivery man as he loses temper due to long wait in southern China
A member of staff at a restaurant beat up a delivery man as he lost temper after waiting too long in southern China.
The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Quanzhou in Fujian Province on October 30, shows a delivery man suddenly shouting to the restaurant staff: "How long do I still need to wait for the order 73 and 75?"
A man in a black T-shirt then was seen running out of the kitchen and threw the wok at the delivery man.
The angry delivery man picked up the wok and smashed it onto the counter repeatedly.
The man in the black T-shirt then walked out and kicked the delivery man who was squatting on the ground crying.
According to reports, the delivery man waited for more than 20 minutes in the restaurant and all his orders were due to be delivered, which would affect his salary.
The restaurant compensated 4,000 yuan (£470) to the delivery man as a medical fee.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
