An experienced potter from Chhattisgarh's Kondagaon has designed a unique earthen oil lamp which can stay lit for 40 hours continuously.

Footage from November 1 shows Ashok Chakradhari and his creations while he throws down on the pottery wheel.

Chakradhari's ingenious concept moves oil robotically from a large chamber above to drip-feed the lit flame for a prolonged period of time.

A 4th Grade passed potter in Chattisgarh’s Kondagaon has designed a unique earthen lamp which can lit up to 40 hours continuously .Ashok Chakradhari has designed a lamp in which oil moves robotically . Ashok tells he was trying to make this lamp from very long , after 4 failed attempt I finally made it . In this lamp oil is filled in a upper container which drops slowly and make the lamp lit for long hours . Ashok adds that I learnt this method on line and now getting orders in big numbers
