Truck knocks over scooter riders and drags them 10 metres along road in China
A truck knocked over two people on a scooter and dragged them along a road for over 10 metres after they ran a red light in northern China.
The CCTV video, shot in the city of Xinzhou in Shanxi Province on October 25, shows a truck knocking over a scooter with two people on it after turning a corner.
According to reports, the scooter ran the red light and drove into the truck driver's blind spot.
The two people suffered minor injuries and the scooter rider took the primary responsibility for the incident.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
