chelmsford bus crash 1
A Land Rover Discovery driver escaped serious injury after her 4x4 collided with a First bus, crashed through metal railings and toppled into a Chelmsford Parkway subway - its windscreen still intact.
The female motorist, in her 40s, who was the only occupant of the 4x4, was helped out of her car by a member of the public and taken to Broomfield Hospital with minor cuts and later discharged.
The crash happened just after 9.30am on the morning of Wednesday, May 28, at the New London Road junction with Parkway, Chelmsford, and police are continuing investigations.
