Harley Davidson owners group in Indonesia ganged up on army intelligence blocking their convoy
A video showing a fight between Harley Davidson big motorcycle community members and two Indonesian army members went viral on social media.
According to the Bukittinggi Police, this incident occurred on Friday (October 30) at Simpang Tarok, Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra.
Two soldiers who were victims of the beatings were the second sergeant Mistari and second sergeant Yusuf.
Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Sr. Comr. Satake Bayu, the incident started when 21 people from the Harley Owners Group (HOG) group of Siliwangi Bandung Chapter Indonesia crossed Dr. Hamka street, Bukittinggi. 11 of them are in the front row. While 10 other were separated from the group.
The 10 Harley drivers who were separated felt that they were blocked by 2 motorcyclists who were soldiers of the intelligence unit at the Military District Command (Kodim) 0304 / Agam. The group had wheeled their motorbikes in front of the soldiers, causing an argument and beatings.
As a result of this incident, 2 soldiers who were beaten were injured and were treated at the army hospital.
As of Thursday, November 5, the police have named 5 members of the Bandung HOG as suspects with the threat of 7 years in prison.
