Bikers in Indonesia attack army intelligence men blocking their convoy
Video showing a fight in Indonesia between a group of Harley Davidson bikers and two army members has gone viral on social media there.
According to the Bukittinggi Police, the incident occurred on Friday (October 30) at Simpang Tarok in Bukittinggi city in West Sumatra.
The attacked soldiers were Second Sergeant Mistari and Second Sergeant Yusuf. In the video, a policeman and an older woman are also seen trying to break up the confrontation.
West Sumatra Police said the incident started when 21 people from the Harley Owners Group (HOG) group of Siliwangi Bandung Chapter Indonesia crossed a street, during which 11 of them up front became separated from 10 in the rear.
The later group felt they were blocked by two other motorcyclists who were army intelligence soldiers.
The bikers then allegedly wheeled their motorbikes in front of the soldiers, causing an argument that led to the altercation in which the soldiers were injured and later taken to hospital.
The police have named 5 members of the Bandung HOG as suspects in crimes carrying punishments of up to seven years in prison.
