The adjourned trial of Gloucestershire anti-lockdown protester Debbie Hicks is set to begin.

Footage from November 2020 shows police officers breaking up and arresting protesters at a park in Stroud, including Debbie Hicks.

Hicks, accused of failing to comply with COVID-19 regulations, was set to stand trial on June 28, 2021, but the hearing was adjourned.

In the footage from 1:36, Hicks is seen being apprehended by several officers.

Extended footage of an anti-lockdown demonstration in Stroud which took place on Saturday (November 7). According to news reports, the organiser of the demo has been fined £10,000. Police also made several arrests at the event after some people refused to disperse. Gloucestershire Constabulary said between 80 to 100 people attended the protest in Stratford Park and most left peacefully.

Protests of more than two people are illegal in England under the second national lockdown legislation.
