Chinese firefighters save motorist trapped in car hanging upside down in garage
Firefighters rescued a motorist after she got trapped in her car hanging upside down in a garage in northern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Taiyuan in Shanxi Province on November 5, shows a white car upside down in a lift shaft after losing control and rushing out of the lift platform in a garage.
Firefighters piled up steel pipes to support the car from the bottom and used a rope to fix the car from the top. One fireman tied by a safety rope was lowered down to approach the trapped motorist to try and free her.
After more than two hours, the motorist was rescued successfully.
According to reports, the motorist did not brake after driving onto the lift platform and fell out of it.
Fortunately, the motorist was not injured seriously and she was sent to hospital for a checkup.
