Healthcare workers took to the streets of Madrid in protest accusing the government of mistreating the Spanish health sector during the coronavirus pandemic.

Footage from November 10 shows protesters carrying a banner that states: "Healthcare workers needed. I don't move! You will not leave our hospitals naked."

Demonstrators demanded the resignation of regional president Isabel Diaz Ayuso after it was announced healthcare personnel from public hospitals would be transferred to the new emergency hospital "Isabel Zendal," that will take care of COVID-19 patients.

Further footage shows people undressing and wearing bin bags as a metaphor for how they have been treated by authorities.

Healthcare workers gathered in the Healthcare Office of the Community of Madrid to protest under the slogan "Healthcare workers needed. I don't move! You will not leave our hospitals naked" protesting against the mistreatment of their sector during the Coronavirus crisis demanding the resignation of Regional president Isabel Diaz Ayuso for the announcement of the transfer of health personnel from Public Hospitals to the new Emergency Hospital Isabel Zendal, that will take care of COVID-19 patients. During the protest, health workers have taken off their clothes and covered with trash bags to make visible the situation they have passed during the pandemic.
