Two former students from Brackenfell High School in Cape Town talk about their experiences at the school that is currently embroiled in a racism scandal.

The school made headlines after it allegedly organised a white-only graduation party.

Footage from November 10 shows Siya Ntuntwana and Ofentse Maybe speak to the media about their experiences of racism at the school.

Ntuntwana mentioned that of the things he experienced was white students making remarks about the need to put on lights so they can see the black students in the hallways.

Maybe said he stopped playing rugby when he left school because of the emotional trauma from the racism he experienced from the team and the coach.

Two former Brackenfell High students, Siya Ntuntwana and Ofentse Maybe, spoke to the media of their experiences of racism at the school.

The school made international headlines yesterday as the mostly white community attacked black members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) as they attempted to go picket outside the school.

The EFF wanted to picket outside the school as a result of black students not being part of a prom arranged by parents because the school never hosted any events because of the Covid 19 regulations.
