Indian traffic cop runs for 2 kilometres clearing roads for ambulance transporting patient
A heroic traffic cop ran for 2 kilometres clearing roads for an ambulance transporting a patient to hospital in Hyderabad, India on November 2.
G Babji is seen jogging ahead of the vehicle notifying motorists that an ambulance carrying a patient needs to get through.
The officer saw the ambulance stuck in traffic on Bank Street and immediately began clearing a way for the vehicle.
Babji said: "I was asking people to make way for the ambulance." He also added that he wasn't aware of the distance he covered.
Babji was rewarded by his department for his off-duty heroics.
