Out-of-control lorry causes 10 car pile-up at traffic lights in Thailand
This is the shocking moment a lorry shunted a car and caused a pile-up crash as vehicles waited at a red light.
Lorry driver Prayoon Kangchaipoom, 48, said he hit the brakes when the traffic lights flashed red at a highway in Chachoengsao, Thailand.
However, the truck failed to slow down and slammed into vehicles in front.
Footage shows the moment the collision happened and the aftermath. Miraculously, nobody was seriously hurt in the crash.
Prayoon said: "I saw the traffic light and wanted to stop the vehicle but could not. The lorry's brake broke midway and crashed the car in front of me."
The force of the impact pushed ten cars in different directions leaving them with severe bodywork damage.
Eight motorists were slightly injured and given first aid treatment by paramedics who arrived at the scene.
The wreckage caused a one-mile-long traffic jam before cars were able to filter away around an hour later.
The lorry driver was taken to the police station for questioning while investigations are ongoing.
