Hot-Air Balloon Christmas Tree Display in Japan
The Grand Wish Christmas 2020 display at the Grand Front shopping complex in Osaka, Japan. This year's theme is Winter Voyage: A Journey of Hope to Connect the World referring the inability for most people to travel during the year due to COVID-19. Four full-sized Christmas trees are decorated with symbols of Europe, New York, Africa, and Bangkok and hung from imitation hot-air balloons.
This video shows a light show that runs every 15 minutes and also depicts the four locations as well as a storm that represents the current problems and final a Silent Night to symbolize a better future.
