A mother raccoon rejected some of her babies after they were relocated from their nest in a Toronto household.

The wildlife control team locate the tiny babies asleep in the attic of a house and begin the relocation process.

After leaving the babies in a secure box on the roof, only one of the offspring was retrieved by the mother raccoon.

The remaining babies are then put with another group in an attempt to surrogate them. The wildlife control team later revealed that the surrogate attempt was successful.

This footage was filmed on May 19.
