The holidays in La Crosse, Wisconsin always have one thing in common, Rotary Lights. This year more than any other year rotary lights is expected to have a bigger turnout because of the hindrances and cancellations of other events around the community.

For the past 26 years, Rotary Lights has been a community tradition, bringing in almost 3000 volunteers from 98 non-profit organizations in the community to help set up for five weeks before all the lights are turned on the day after Thanksgiving, starting with a large fireworks display before Santa turns on the lights.

The video here shows Volunteer setting up on two different weekdays In preparation for the large event takes up most of Riverside Park. This year just like last, two weekends are going to be offering helicopter rides over the park. What are your lights is powered by donations with money And also non-perishable food items that are given to food banks. They're predicting to collect over 350,000 items to help feed the community.
