Schools closed and train lines blocked as blaze brings chaos to Bradford
A large fire at a scrap tyre yard in Bradford, a city in the northern English county of West Yorkshire has caused school closures and travel disruption.
The blaze began at about 4:30 am local time on November 16.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service asked people living nearby to keep their windows closed "due to the large amount of smoke."
The filmer Ryan Wilcock told Newsflare: "I have been called to this large fire just out of the centre of Bradford in my capacity as an electrical engineer.
"The fire is currently been tackled by dozens of firefighters from surrounding areas. There is estimated to be over 2,500 tonnes of tyres on site. "
No casualties have been reported.
