Residents drink coffee on makeshift raft during Typhoon Vamco floods in the Philippines
This is the hilarious moment residents built a makeshift boat out of driftwood and water containers before floating in it to drink hot coffee.
The residents tested their boat and had morning coffee in Manila City, the Philippines, on November 13, during severe floods caused by typhoon Vamco.
They floated on the knee-deep muddy floodwater and appeared to have a good time, until a police siren was heard.
One of the men scrambled out of the boat and ran away and leaving his partner to take care of the boat and the hot drinks.
Onlooker Christian Dave Aguila said the funny scene made him happy despite the deluge devastating the region.
He said: "They completed my day and I did not expect that his friend left him with a nervous look, maybe he was just afraid to be caught by a cop for not wearing a face mask."
The floodwater has subsided in Manila but rescue teams are still battling to reach stranded residents further north in Cagayan province, which suffered severe floods.
As of Monday, typhoon Vamco - or Ulysses as it is known locally - had killed at least 63 people in the Philippines with dozens more missing.
The storm has now moved eastwards and hit central Vietnam, where it made landfall on Sunday.
