This is the hilarious moment a guilty dog refused to look at its owner while it was being scolded for destroying their electric fan.

The mixed-breed white Labrador named Ivana struggled to maintain its innocent appearance while its owner berated it inside their home in Batangas province, the Philippines on November 12.

Owner Jane Merida Punongbayan found the appliance's cords and cables broken into pieces with visible bite marks from the naughty dog.

Jane then called the dog and talked to Ivana while showing the pieces of cord but the dog refused to look at her.

She was heard saying in the video: "What are we going to do now? There's a typhoon and you chose to destroy our things."

Speaking after, Jane said that the dog behaved in a corner after being scolded as if it was sorry about the broken appliance.

She said: "I can't stay mad at her for a long time, anyway her acting skill is very effective for me."

The fan was not plugged in at the time.
