Wedding guests hold umbrellas over bride and groom during rainstorm in Thailand
This is the touching moment wedding guests held umbrellas over the newly-weds when heavy rain started to pour as the bride and groom entered the venue.
The weather almost ruined the intimate ceremony in Ratchaburi province, Thailand, on November 7.
However, the pair did not stop smiling even after the rain had drenched their wedding reception.
The bride's dress was soaked with the rain but she clutched her husband-to-be's hand, overcoming their wedding obstacle.
Some of the caring relatives even wiped the beautiful bride's face with a towel as rainwater trickled down her face.
Visitors held up umbrellas, wore raincoats while some were even caught with a plastic bag over their heads as the ceremony continued.
More than 300 guests attended the marriage ceremony but not a single person went home despite the downpour.
The groom, Nippan Natpisankul said the rain may have forced them to change their original plan but it made the day even more memorable.
He said: "The guests told me they never encountered anything like this and were quite impressed. My wife and I are glad that everybody enjoyed the wedding."
Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia are now reaching the end of their annual rainy season which lasts each year from June to November and brings heavy rain and flash floods.
