The famous jonker walk remain silent and almost empty after the Malaysia applied new MCO started from Oct at few States in Malaysia and more states included in Nov. So many local people can't out of their state and therefore Melaka is now very silent and many shops are closed and to let. Some shops only open on weekend and close during weekdays although they are allowed to open as they're selling food and restaurants operate.

The MCO really gives a big impact in Malaysian travel industry. Many companies and shops went bankrupt and closed since early of March till year till now. More shops and companies will be closed and bankrupt soon if the MCO is still on going.
