An awe-inspiring Taiwanese artist makes dinner for her young child into stunningly creative works of art.

This timelapse by I-Ching Liu uses a variety of veggies, including white rice, nori, and rainbow carrot, to create a cute betta fish.

She told Newsflare: "This meal was made for my four-year-old.

"After seeing a betta fish, commonly referred to as a fighting fish, I was interested in finding out about the handsome creature. Did you know that betta fish can peacefully live with certain species, and only the male fishes are aggressive to each other? Although I love those beautiful fins, I won’t be sad if they can enjoy the freedom as much as I do, in the wild where they belong."
