Firefighters rescued a 2-year-old boy hanging from the 11th-floor window after falling from a window on the floor above in eastern China.

The video, shot in the city of Hefei in Anhui Province on November 22, shows a man holding a toddler hanging outside the 11th-floor window and firefighters using an electric shear pliers to try to open a big gap in the security bars.

Firefighters handed the toddler over to the paramedics and he was sent to hospital for a check-up.

According to reports, the boy's father went out while the toddler was asleep. The boy woke up and climbed out of the balcony, falling down from the 12th floor.

After he landed on the 11th floor, the couple inside the flat spotted him and the man held the boy until firefighters arrived.

Fortunately, the boy was not injured seriously.

“小孩从楼上掉下来了，在防盗窗外面，我正在抓着他，坚持不了多久，你们快来！”


合肥市歙县路某小区，一12楼住户卧室的阳台防盗窗上，女主人突然看到一个人影，吓了一跳，男主人闻讯后立即冲到阳台。


一看吓一跳！居然是一个两岁的小男孩，他赶紧上前抓住，女主人随即拨打了报警电话。

11月22日22时07分，合肥市消防救援支队望湖站接到这个揪心的求助电话。通讯员谢屿琦赶紧拉响警报，并一再嘱咐报警人千万坚持住。

为了最快赶到现场，消防车连闯了两个红灯，消防员到达小区后，更是一路狂奔至12楼。


只见12楼的男主人满头大汗地蹲在阳台的柜子上，死死的拉着小男孩的胳膊，男主人还用了一条腰带将小男孩捆住以防止其滑落。小男孩因受到惊吓啼哭不止，女主人在一旁急得团团转。

情况紧急，指挥员孔杨立即下令展开救援，执勤班长蔡云鹏一个健步冲上前，跟男主人一道抓住小男孩的手，并拖住小男孩，不停安抚：“不怕不怕，消防员叔叔来了。”

小男孩两腿悬空在防盗窗外面，只有两个胳膊里面，为了尽快救出小男孩，消防员们焦急万分。

“重心，重心不要放外面，不要在防盗窗上，赶紧扩开，扩开一个口子！”

队员林辑鸿利用电动剪切钳将防盗窗扩开了一个口子，蔡云鹏为防止发生意外，不断大声提醒。

此时，小男孩仍然大哭不止，不停的喊着
“我要爸爸，我要爸爸！”

防盗窗被剪开一个小口子，蔡云鹏直接上前将钢管徒手掰断。小男孩很快被抱进了室内。此时，在场的所有人都长长的松了一口气。

随后，消防员将小男孩交由现场等候在旁的120医生，并送往医院进行进一步检查。

据了解，小男孩的家在13楼，孩子爸爸趁孩子睡着后出去几分钟办点事，谁知道刚走小男孩就醒了，自己爬到了阳台上，不慎掉了下来。要不是12楼的夫妻及时发现，后果不堪设想。万幸的是，小男孩除了受到惊吓，身体无碍。


当时带队的现场指挥员孔杨回看救援画面时，不禁感慨“再看这个画面血液都快不流通了，还好孩子没事！”

据了解，12楼男主人曾是一名森林消防员。
