A golden eel was discovered by a man in a rice field in Vietnam.

The video, shot in Bac Giang on October 21, shows a man holding a 40-centimetre-long and 200-gram weight golden eel in his hand.

The man finally released the eel back to the field.

According to the scientists, the eel had colour mutation.

According to the filmmaker, while moving out to the rice field he spotted the golden eel. The eel has a strange color that is different from normal eels. The whole body of the eel is golden with black eyes.
The eel is about 40 cm long and weighs about 200 grams.
This was the first time he had seen an eel of such color.
Soon after, the man decided to release the eel back to the field.
According to scientists, the eel had a color mutation. The eel's body has turned from black to golden. This is a rare eel because of its distinctive body color.
