International day against violence inflicted to women in France

Today in Mairie de Montreuil, a walk followed by a gathering in front of the Mairie de Montreuil brought up the problems, threats and violence women live throughout their lives. Today, a name was on everybody’s mouth “Julie” (it is a pseudonym). This 13 year old girl has been abused by twenty firefighters between 2009 and 2011. Last week, the court changed the qualification of these acts from “rape” to “sexual assault”.
