Watch this snake take its first breaths as it hatches out of an egg held by a Vietnamese man.

The video, filmed in Buon Me Thuot on October 1, shows a baby snake breaking out of an egg as a man was holding it in his hand.

According to reports, the man discovered a nest of snake eggs in his garden. When he tried to pick one egg up, he felt the egg moved and then a baby snake wriggled out of it.

The man said the snakes are non-poisonous and specialists in hunting rats.
