Runaway tyre hits woman on highway in China
Bizarre CCTV footage has emerged from China of a loose tyre flying down a road and hitting a woman next to a parked car - sending her flying off the side of the highway in Zhejiang Province in December.
The footage shows the tyre running along the hard shoulder and crashing into the passenger, Ms Guo, who then fell across the fence - with a shocked driver running behind to find her.
According to local reports the tyre was dropped by a moving trailer truck. Ms Guo reportedly broke three bones and has been sent to a local hospital for treatment but escaped more serious injury.
