Thai protesters vandalised police vehicles during the latest anti-government rally in Bangkok on Sunday 29 November.

Footage showed a young man spraying graffiti on a police force minivan parked on the route of the march. The van was one of several that had been similarly vandalised.

The protest was otherwise largely trouble-free.

Earlier in the day, protesters gathered outside the headquarters of the 11th Infantry Regiment, before moving to another location.

The army was put under the command of Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn in 2019. Activists claim it has taken a role in politics and are concerned about rumours of a possible military coup.

Thousands of anti-establishment protests have taken place across Thailand in 2020, beginning at schools and universities.

Activists are calling for sweeping reforms including a new constitution, the resignation of the prime minister Prayuth Chan-o-cha and reform of the monarchy.
