Tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Paris Saturday, November 28 to protest against a draft law to restrict the publication of images of police officers.

The demonstration followed the publication of footage of a Black music producer Michel Zecler, being beaten by police officers.

The demonstration was mostly peaceful but a small group of protesters got violent, set vehicles on fire on the street.

Demonstrations also took place in other cities across France.
