Hundreds of hospitality workers marched in Nantes, France, on Monday (November 30) to protest against COVID-19 restrictions.

France eased its national lockdown on Saturday (November 28), allowing shops selling non-essential goods to reopen while bars and restaurants will remain remain closed until 20 January.

On November 30th, hundreds of non essential workers gathered in Nantes, France as they want to reopen thei shop and resume their activity.
Denouncing their situation, the lack of support and the lack of plan, they want more economic help from the state or to reopen as their sign reads "Let Us Work"

Between 300 and 500 "non essential" workers gathered in Nantes to denounce their situation a they have been closed for months due to Covid19.
Among the participants, some brought a guillotine, a metaphor of their situation as they can't earn money but still have to pay rents, wages, debts and insurances.
On top of this guillotine, a sign reads: "Macron (French president), Castex (French prime minister)... Protect Yes, Sacrifice No"

On monday 30th of november, non essential workers (hostels, restaurants, night clubs, event management) came together in Nantes, France to denounce their situation as they aren't allowed to resume working yet. In times of Covid 19, their shops have been closed and their activity stopped since March for most of them, and they might not be able to work again before january 2021.
More than just asking for a reopenning, they also want more funding and help from the state, as they still need to pay rents and wages despite having no revenue
