This shelter in Iran rescues thousands of dogs to give them a new life.

The clip, filmed on November 16 shows volunteers for the Shelter of Kerman taking wheelbarrows of food out to the shelter with almost 2,000 dogs surrounding them.

Soma, a volunteer at the shelter, explained to Newsflare: "The shelter has been there for about five years however, the previous owners were not running it well, they weren't caring for the dogs properly or maintaining the shelter correctly. It was a horrible situation.

"Two months ago the lady I work with took over the shelter, and with a lot of hard work, we are now getting all the work done and feeding dogs and trying to make a better life for them.

"We adopt the dogs out, we working with the ‘PAWS4thought’ shelter in the US and taking as many dogs as possible there for adoption," she continued.
