Residents in eastern China put huge ice cubes into their property management office to complain about a lack of heating in winter.

The video, filmed in the city of Nantong in Jiangsu Province on November 28, shows huge ice cubes piled up on the ground of the property management office hall, and a cleaner using a mop to wipe away the water.

According to reports, the residential community was promised supplies of hot water, air conditioning and central heating, but residents were not allowed to install air-conditioners.

However, the residents still did not get them when the temperature was getting cold.

The residents bought ice cubes and put them in the property management office hall to show their disappointment as their hearts are as cold as the ice.

The management staff said the lack of heating supplies was because of the unit failure. The problem has since been solved and the residential community has been provided with heating.
