This is the bizarre moment a man was given a birthday surprise - being kidnapped by his friends and strapped to a moving car behind a coyote dancer.

The birthday boy, 23, was drinking with pals when they sprung the embarrassing prank on him in Tainan City, Thailand, on November 25.

Footage shows the lad taped to a chrome stripper's pole on top of a jeep as it crawls past bars on Dawan Road.

A few yards in front of the vehicle was coyote dancer Shi Yian - whose stage name is 'horny little princess' - performing seductive moves.

In the video, the embarrassed man was seen looking sheepishly at the ground, unable to move while Shi Yian danced and his friends cheered.

"I'd like to first apologize to all our friends at the scene if we're disturbing you,'' says Shi Yia, the dancer in the video.

''But you only celebrate your 23rd birthday once. Let's get this together and help him have a birthday he'll never forget.''

She then continued on the mic, encouraging onlookers to be part of this amusing celebration.

She yelled: "Can you all shout happy birthday with me? One, two, three... Happy Birthday, yeah!"
