A group who had an otherwise disappointing day's safari in South Africa's Kruger National Park on 2 December 2020 rounded a corner to find a group of white rhinos!

Sightings of rhino in the wild usually ranges from one to three individuals together. "Finding five rhinos all together was a priceless experience and we were absolutely amazed by what we saw," the filmer said.

There was one large female and four sub-adults, most likely her offspring. But the peaceful moment was suddenly interrupted when a huge rhino bull barged into the scene, giving the rhino family and those watching from the vehicle a huge fright.

The rhino family scattered for a moment before gathering together again and returning to calm, before slowly disappearing into the thickets again.

With the threat of poaching, the rhino has become one of the world's most endangered wildlife species.

The filmer said: "It was such a magical moment to see six together in the wild."
