Motorist fined after blocking an ambulance at traffic lights in China
A motorist was fined after blocking in an ambulance that was on its way to pick up a patient in souther China.
In the video, filmed in the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on November 30, a car is seen blocking in the ambulance as they stop at a set of traffic lights.
The ambulance is heard honking 12 times to get the driver's attention.
According to reports, the ambulance was on its way to pick up a patient who was at risk of suffocation due to a serious cough.
Police contacted the motorist and requested her to go to the police office for investigation.
The motorist Liang said she heard the ambulance but did not know how to give the way as she was afraid of being fined if she ran the red light.
Police educated the motorist, fined her and deducted three points from her driving licence.
