Sumatran tiger captured on a highway of Indonesia

A Sumatran tiger (Panthera Tigris Sumatrae) appeared on the Tanjung Nam Ampek highway in Solok, Indonesia, and was captured on Sunday (December 6).

The capture drew people's attention. Hundreds of people visited the location to see the tiger, which for the last few days has been worrying.

The protected animal appeared several times in residential areas. Two tigers were seen roaming the streets.

Head of Regional Section III of the West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA), Novtiwarman, confirmed that only one tiger was caught.
