Free Covid-19 test kits are now being provided from vending machines at Hong Kong metro stations.

As a fourth wave of Covid-19 infections emerged in Hong Kong, the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) Corporation Limited launched new vending machine at metro stations to provide free Covid-19 test kits for the residents.

In the video, commuters lined up to get the free Covid-19 test kits from a vending machine at North Point Station with the security guard's help.

Ten metro stations in Hong Kong will have the vending machines to provide free Covid-19 test kits from today (December 7).

10,000 jars will be distributed each day with packs supplied by a government contractor. The used kits can be dropped at Hospital Authority Out-patience Clinics or 13 Department of Health Clinics.

Vending machines are set up at 10 MTR (Mass Transit Railway stations for the public to collect COVID-19 specimen collection packs at their convenience.
