Drowning Man Rescued From Floods In Southern Thailand

This is the dramatic moment a drowning man was rescued from floods which killed at least 24 people in southern Thailand.

The resident was swept away from the deluge that batterer Nakhon Si Thammarat province last week. He was taken to the hospital where he made a full recovery.

It came as the torrential floods across the region on the border with Malaysia killed at least 24 people and left thousands of properties damaged.

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation said 19 of the victims were in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, two in Songkhla and one in Surat Thani.
