Even Santa observes social distancing.

In a world upended by a pandemic and the need for social distancing, there was a lot of worries that the age-old tradition of children meeting Santa was likely to be abandoned.

Thankfully, Santa has found a range of innovative solutions that have enabled him to continue spreading cheer this holiday season.

One such innovation was captured by Roger Kristensen while visiting the Aalborg Zoo in Denmark.

Keen to avoid the prospect of children not getting to meet Santa this year, the staff at the zoo came up with the brilliant idea to have Santa sit inside a giant snow globe.

Santa, as can be seen in the video, was then able to safely greet children from within his giant globe.

Speaking about the video Roger said; "A super idea invented by the Zoo here, I think!

"The children can go talk to Santa Claus and make a wish while keeping things safe because of the isolation the globe gives Santa Claus."
