A country-wide strike by farmers in Delhi, India has begun amid a standoff with the government over new farm laws.
Farmers blocked National Highway 24 Delhi-Meerut Highway as part of Bharat Bandh or nationwide protest over three Farm Laws.

Four Punjabi kids of farmers offered bottled water to police personnel.

Agitating farmers gave way to ambulance at Delgi-Uttar Pradesh Ghazipur border.

Ombir Singh, a 64 year old man and permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh's Shamli and currently residing in Ghaziabad is running 15 km a day to support the farmers protest. Singh says that he is expressing his solidarity with the protesting farmers by running. Ever since the agitation began, he has been running for 15 km every day. Going forward, as long as the farmers are sitting here, "I will continue to run 21 kilometres every day in support of their demands." His son and daughter are settled abroad.
