A kindergarten teacher was fired and detained after sitting on a five-year-old girl to force her to sleep in southern China.
The video, filmed in the city of Foshan in Guangdong Province on November 26, shows several children tossing and turning in their bed when taking a nap at noon.
A teacher named Xu was seen walking to a five-year-old girl and sat on top of her to play on her phone.
Xu was reportedly sitting on the girl for over three minutes.
According to Xu, she tried to let the girl fall asleep quickly.
The girl was not injured but Xu was fired and detained by the police.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
