Washington Governor Jay Inslee announced on Tuesday (December 8) that coronavirus restrictions will be extended for another three weeks.

Footage from December 8 shows residents of Seattle dining outdoors and Christmas shopping in the city.

The state-wide restrictions will end on January 4, meaning the ban on indoor dining and indoor social gatherings will remain.

The partial lockdown was originally supposed to be lifted on December 14, but due to a rising infection rate policy makers decided to extend the restrictions.
